Through Ashley’s Lens
Ashley Powell has spent more than two decades working from different sides of influence.
Early on, she learned to find talent where the industry wasn’t looking, casting commercials in barbershops, American Legion halls, and on college campuses rather than relying solely on agency submissions. She has since represented talent, worked in fashion and luxury, sold homes and wedding dresses, built and scaled businesses, negotiated brand partnerships, and helped creators turn influence into commercial opportunity.
Across all of it she came to understand influence not as visibility or audience size, but as something that shapes what people want, whom they trust, the decisions they make, and the markets that move in response.
The creator economy gave that understanding a new dimension. Through SEA MGMNT, Ashley worked at the point where individual influence meets commercial opportunity, connecting creators with brands and with established industries.
Bridal is where the creator economy and the Milestone Economy came together in Ashley’s work. She represented the creators on one side of the transaction and taught the trade on the other, engaged by the industry’s own markets, summits and trade organizations to help their members understand how to work with influencers.
A wedding brings together far more than fashion and celebration. It connects decisions across beauty, travel, hospitality, property, finance, family and culture. Each industry sees a separate consumer opportunity. The person moving through the life transition is what connects them.
The pattern was not confined to weddings. She had already sold residences to people stepping into a new life, cast advertising aimed at adults returning to education mid-career, and worked with destinations selling a reason to travel. Following creators into pregnancy, motherhood and family life revealed something equally important. As identity and needs change, so do the relationships, audiences and sources of influence that surround a person. Commercial relevance can travel with them.
Those observations led Ashley to develop Life Chapter Marketing™, a framework for understanding how life transitions reshape consumer behavior and influence, and for identifying the commercial opportunities they create within the Milestone Economy.
Today, through Frost & Co., Ashley advises brands, businesses, agencies and institutions on the opportunities emerging where life transitions, influence and commerce intersect.

Speaking & Industry Stages

Finding influence is only the beginning.
What matters is recognizing its potential.
Industries study categories.
Human lives move between them.
Traditional market intelligence often organizes people by industries, demographics, and purchasing behavior.
Life Chapter Marketing™ examines how significant life transitions reshape identity, relationships, consumer behavior, and influence, including whose voices people trust and how their own influence evolves.
A person may move from planning a wedding to building a home, starting a family, changing careers, or redefining what comes next.
Each chapter may involve different industries, decisions, and relationships.
The industries serving those moments may be separate. The person moving between them is not.
Businesses organize themselves around what they sell.
People make decisions according to what they are becoming.

Ideas in conversation.
Ashley offers commentary on influence, the creator economy, the Milestone Economy, Life Chapter Marketing™, luxury, culture, and the changing relationships between people and markets.
